JOB DESCRIPTION.
Second Baptist School is currently accepting applications for PART-TIME AFTER SCHOOL EDUCATOR(S).
- The program runs 2 – 6 p.m. daily, and the work schedule averages 20+ hours per week.
- This is an hourly position.
CANDIDATE SUMMARY.

- A high school diploma/GED or higher.

- A desire and willingness to be innovative, creative and collaborative with coworkers and peers.
- A strong desire to serve and teach in a Christian school.
- Commitment to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.

To perform this job successfully, candidates must be willing and able to:
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Assist with planning, preparing and executing daily activities.
- Assist students with homework assignments.
- Communicate clearly with coworkers and parents as appropriate or needed.
- Supervise and manage student behavior to maintain a safe and fun environment.
A college or advanced degree, previous teaching experience and/or prior knowledge of Second Baptist Church and School are all considered a plus.
