- Take ownership of Balance Sheet and P&L statements, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Perform hands-on daily accounting activities, including AP, AR, cash transactions, vendor invoices, and customer billing using QuickBooks Online.
- Independently manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Review and reconcile intercompany transactions with the parent company and affiliated entities.
- Apply US GAAP and ASC 606 requirements for revenue recognition across multiple sales channels.
- Review and verify inventory accounting and maintain accurate COGS and inventory records across warehouse operations.
- Manage treasury activities, cash-flow monitoring, banking transactions, and cash/bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer master data.
- Support accounting system improvements and potential ERP/system transition projects.
- Communicate and coordinate with U.S. management, Korea HQ, and other internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive professional accounting experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, treasury management, and inventory accounting.
- Experience independently managing financial statements and month-end close.
- Business-level Korean and English proficiency required, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP ERP.
- Experience transitioning accounting systems from QuickBooks to SAP.
- Accounting experience within consumer products, e-commerce, healthcare, biotech, beauty, or other inventory-based businesses.
