What the ideal candidate will do:
- Support the spare part and repair quotation and ordering process.
- Provide timely response to customer inquiries, requests for quotation and order follow up according to departmental procedures.
- Quote spare parts and repairs for new and existing equipment.
- Process quotations and orders through MRP/ERP system from receipt to delivery.
- Arrange logistics from supplier to the customer.
- Coordinate with other departments.
- High School diploma or equivalent; degree in vocational trade school preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of customer service experience and/or training in a manufacturing, automotive, or production type of environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with quotes and estimates.
- Must be able to read and interpret machine/automotive parts drawings and bills of materials.
- Must possess strong communication, math, and computer skills. Microsoft Excel & ERP/MRP experience (SAP preferred).
