Non-CDL Delivery Driver

South Main Trucking, an affiliate of Scott Electric Company has a current opening at our Camp Hill, PA branch for a Full-Time Non-CDL Delivery Driver (Mon-Fri 7:00AM – 3:30PM). 

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering electrical materials to customer job sites and warehouses while providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles (box truck, flatbed, or cargo van – non-CDL)
• Load, secure, transport, and unload electrical materials and supplies
• Verify delivery orders for accuracy and obtain customer signatures as needed
• Inspect vehicle daily and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Assist in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and organizing inventory if needed
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of vehicle and work area
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations (non-CDL applicable)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and handle heavy materials
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Frequent lifting, bending, and climbing in/out of trucks
• Basic knowledge of electrical products is a plus (training provided)
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Ability to unload the assigned truck at delivery sites

Preferred:

• Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience

Must submit a background check and drug testing.
