The Operations Manager will appropriately plan and schedule work and manage the project to ensure the completion of project scopes on time, within budget, and with quality. The Operation Manager applies their knowledge of technical capabilities, alarm systems, and equipment to best meet clients individual and customized needs. The Operations Manager will also coordinate and oversee project completion deadlines and communicate directly with clients to ensure installation is properly executed.
The Operations Manager reports to the Vice President and serves as a member of the Operations team. The position participates with the other members of the administration team to chart the direction of the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
• Effectively plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects using principles, methods, and standard techniques that are appropriate to the specific project
• Manages installation planning and product deployment of security systems for clients.
• Continued communication with customers.
• Ensure proper implementation and installation of service.
• Oversee the team and their installation projects.
• Coordinates installation schedule of the team and monitors progress to meet installation and service deadlines.
• Provides guidance to team members ensuring appropriate resolution of problems affecting product deployment or installation.
• Communicates the progress and plan of the project effectively with the rest of the team.
• Proposes alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to system malfunctions.
• Responsible for ordering parts as needed.
• Participating in stakeholder meetings.
• Maintenance of company vehicles.
• Management of company warehouse.
• Implementation of risk management procedures.
• Must be available after hours, on weekends, and on holidays to respond to a client incident or other situations.
• Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creates schedules for all technicians and warehouse employees.
• Manages the technician staff who are responsible for installation, wiring, and programming of security & fire alarm systems, door access, and CCTVs.
• Coordinates training programs for a new technician or warehouse staff and identifies training needs for current staff.
• May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department.
• Oversees technician and warehouse operations.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Other supervisory duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or another related subject.
• 3 years prior experience as a Security Technician, Operations Manager, or Security Sales
• 1-3 years of managerial experience
• Able to read and understand complex architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans and documents.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with considerable knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Burglar Alarm Systems, Access Control, Intercom, etc.
• Positive attitude along with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to quickly adapt to change.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• A passion for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
