    Job description

    The Role

    • Manage an assigned portfolio of Recruiter customers across a tiered client model, flexing coverage and engagement according to client potential, investment, strategic value and growth opportunity.
    • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue, retention and product adoption targets, contributing to sustainable growth across the Recruiter segment.
    • Build trusted-adviser relationships with recruitment agency owners, senior decision-makers and SEEK points of contact through relevant, proactive and commercially valuable engagement.
    • Develop and maintain client account plans, including stakeholder maps, SOW data, competitor and placement information, customer goals, risks and agreed actions in Salesforce.
    • Use data, analytics and customer insight to identify and reduce each client’s ad gap, understand performance and demonstrate the value and ROI of SEEK investment.
    • Grow share of wallet and contract value through a balanced focus on retention, new investment, cross-sell and multi-product adoption across Job Ads, PTS, Role Insights, Branded and Premium solutions.
    • Learn and confidently position new commercial models, products and features, tailoring recommendations to each client’s recruitment strategy and maturity.
    • Identify opportunities to deepen engagement across client brands and stakeholder groups, and to progress accounts between tiers where investment and strategic value warrant it.
    • Re-engage inactive or at-risk customers and design SOW, churn-mitigation and win-back strategies that protect investment and create sustainable growth.
    • Facilitate product demonstrations, training, webinars and client events, helping customers and their teams get the most from SEEK’s solutions.
    • Provide clear customer, competitor and market insight through agreed voice-of-customer channels to inform product, marketing and commercial decisions.
    • Use approved AI tools thoughtfully in day-to-day sales planning, account management and reporting, sharing useful practices with the team.

    Success in the Role

    Success will be demonstrated through:

    • Achievement of revenue and L12M growth targets, with a balanced focus on retention, expansion and new business; portfolio growth of around 10% may be used as an indicative benchmark.
    • Increased depth and breadth of product penetration, including growth in average products per client and adoption of strategic Recruiter solutions.
    • A measurable reduction in client ad gap, supported by accurate opportunity diagnosis, relevant commercial solutions and effective performance conversations.
    • High-quality SOW and account-plan data captured in Salesforce, enabling better decisions at client, portfolio and team level.
    • Strong client engagement, trusted-adviser status, participation in relevant SEEK events and consistent delivery of agreed account actions.
    • On-time contribution to segment priorities and FY27 “Big Rocks”, with clear ownership, milestones and measurable customer or commercial impact.

    The Team

    • Work alongside a passionate team of Account Executives and Business Development consultants in a supportive, high-performing environment that encourages shared learning, collaboration and continuous personal, professional and career development.
    • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales Operations, Field Sales, GTM, Commercial Excellence, Customer Service, Marketing, Product, Data and Analytics, and IT to deliver coordinated client experiences, share customer and market insight, improve solutions and execute segment priorities.
    • Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, feedback, innovation and collective accountability, recognising that strong client outcomes are achieved through effective teamwork across SEEK.

    Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies

    • Demonstrated sales or account management experience, ideally in a consultative, portfolio-based environment.
    • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and multiple layers of an organisation.
    • Experience working in a recruitment agency environment is preferred, but not essential.
    • Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities, source leads, grow share of wallet and think outside the square.
    • Comfortable using data, analytics and CRM information to diagnose customer needs and build practical strategies.
    • Able to learn, explain and recommend technology, products and commercial models with confidence.
    • Builds rapport quickly and easily over the telephone, video and face-to-face.
    • Skilled at handling objections, listening actively and responding effectively.
    • A team player who is encouraging, helpful, cooperative and willing to share customer and competitor insight.
    • Flexible, resilient, self-motivated and able to work with a willing, can-do attitude through change and ambiguity.
    • Strong planning, prioritisation and time-management skills across a varied client portfolio.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, with intermediate computer and Salesforce skills.
