Learning Content Developer, Geoscience

As a Learning Content Developer, you will be responsible for developing world-class learning materials for users of the products across Seequent’s Geoscience portfolio. A key focus of this role will be producing new eLearning courses designed to help our users efficiently and effectively use Oasis montaj, AGS, Evo, and other Seequent products to address modelling and data management challenges. You will also maintain and enhance existing training content to align with new software releases.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

· Join Seequent’s global Learning Experience team, dedicated to fostering and sustaining competent usage of Seequent applications by contributing to an accessible, interconnected ecosystem of Learning, help and support materials.

· Work closely with our Application Help technical writers and Support teams to equip users with the knowledge they require to be proficient with the Seequent product suite.

· Design and develop engaging eLearning materials to support Seequent products, in conjunction with Instructional Designers

· Assist with maintaining up-to-date learning product corresponding with product releases and enhancements.

· Liaise with regional technical and product teams to design and develop high-value, connected workflows that cover multiple Seequent products.

· Continually improve the courses based on direct, holistic customer feedback.

To be successful in this role, you should have: 

· Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics

· 5+ years of experience working as a geophysicist/geoscientist in industry or academia.

· Experience in Data management and/or Seequent software

· Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail

· Excellent interpersonal skills, communication and collaboration skills that lead to building rich working relationships.

· A passion for continuous learning and sharing knowledge with your team to participate in professional skill development activities.

· Proven team player with a self-started attitude and ability to work well independently at times remotely and self-manage workload effectively.

· The ability to work across a global organisation, spanning different time zones.

· Fluent in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and/or French is an asset

Additional Information

This is an 18-month fixed-term position based in our Vancouver, BC office.
