As the Post Production Lead, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating all post processing functions during your shift. This role ensures production workload is properly managed, quality standards are upheld, and communication remains consistent across shifts and related departments. The Post Production Lead supports process improvements, team training, and daily operational execution to ensure the overall success of the department.

What you’ll do
- Oversee the daily workflow of all post production operations during your assigned shift
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and meet company quality standards and established guidelines
- Communicate daily with the Department Manager regarding production status, challenges, and departmental needs
- Provide a smooth handoff to the oncoming shift to ensure operational continuity
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced at scheduled intervals
- Address team member questions and provide real-time support on the production floor
- Collaborate with the Department Manager on process improvements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience in a fabrication environment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow and enforce work instructions and safety procedures
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication or CNC manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of post production workflows and quality standards
- Experience leading teams in a multi-shift production environment
- Experience implementing process improvements
- Familiarity with production tracking systems or workflow management tools
- Forklift experience
Essential Physical Requirements
- Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shifts
- Ability to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipment
Work Environment
- Manufacturing and production floor environment
- Work performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipment
- Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materials
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
