Caregiver - NOC

Required: CNA, NAC, HCA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

· Observes resident physical, mental, and emotional status and reports any changes.

· Reads and follows service plans, attends meetings, and reviews daily reports in the interest of resident care.

· Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, such as bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, walking, transferring, and turning.

· Applies minor first-aid measures such as compresses, ice, and heat as directed by a nurse.

· Assists with meal service, prepares or examines food trays for prescribed diet, feeds residents, and records food intake when required.

· Responds to resident inquiries and directs to the appropriate person as needed.

· Responds promptly and appropriately to emergency situations.

· Assists with Life Enrichment activities as needed.

· Provides routine updates to other Wellness team members and completes required recordkeeping tasks.

· May assist with housekeeping duties, including removing garbage, making beds, cleaning apartments, and washing, drying, and putting away laundry.

· May obtain and record resident vital signs and weight.

· May collect samples from residents for testing, such as sputum, urine, stool, and/or blood.

· Practice basic infection control with linens, hand washing, and in all other aspects of delivery of resident care.

· Attend mandatory meetings as scheduled by Executive Director.

· Maintain confidentiality of resident, community, employee, and company information.

· Maintain working knowledge of fire and disaster plans and responsibilities under emergency conditions.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Valid Food Worker Card

HCA, CNA or NAC Certified

$2.00 NOC shift differential from 10p-6a.
