Accounting Manager

Mission of the Role
The Accounting Team is responsible for a wide range of accounting functions — including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, standalone and consolidated financial closing, external audit support, accounting management for overseas subsidiaries, tax compliance, and internal controls — to ensure the company's financial information is accurate and delivered on time. As the company grows, this role offers the opportunity to work directly with new types of transactions and processes as they arise, and to contribute to the company's growth by helping resolve the accounting and financial issues that come with preparing for an IPO.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and year-end book closing in accordance with K-IFRS
• Prepare journal entries and process accounting transactions; review and reconcile account balances & general ledger
• Subsidiary closing, including preparing data for and communicating with external accounting firms
• Prepare supporting data and assist with consolidation adjustments
• Support the audit process
• Prepare and review quarterly VAT returns and support corporate tax filings during the year-end closing process
• Supports monthly expense reporting
• Support preparation and disclosure of business reports and quarterly reports
• Support other ad hoc tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, a related field or equivalent certification
• 3+ years of experience in a related field
• Experience in performing or supporting closing processes
• Proficiency in Excel and other Office programs to organize and verify accounting data
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting closing deadlines
• Willingness to proactively learn new accounting processes and systems
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to raise issues in a timely manner and collaborate smoothly with others

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in K-IFRS
• Audit experience, including preparing materials for and responding to external auditors
• Experience in Startups
• Experience in IT or Software industry
• Experience in IPO process
• Working-level English preferred
