The Manager, Outside Sales leads the Outside Sales team by defining objectives, priorities and deadlines required to meet short term goals and objectives. Is responsible for the success of each team member. Typically manages the work efforts of supervisors/individual contributors.
• Motivates and encourages the outside sales team to ensure goal attainment. • Analyzes sales reports to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new categories. • Analyzes customer preferences to effectively manage sales efforts. • Assigns accounts and establishes quotas for the outside sales team. • Communicates with potential customers, understanding needs and identifying suitable products. • Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and operational challenges. • Participates in collaboration with senior management and executive leadership to develop sales goals, strategies, and reports. • Prepares sales budgets, monitors expenses, and approves within guidelines. • Represents the company at trade association conferences and meetings.
• Minimum Experience: 6+ years • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Equal Opportunity Employer.
