Job Description:
Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time Plumber to join our team. This dayshift position will primarily work Monday through Friday.
Job Duties
- Responsible for plumbing duties in the construction, installation, alteration, maintenance, repair, remodeling or removal and replacement of plumbing.
- Plans and implements preventative maintenance program for plumbing lines, valves, fixtures, gauges, and equipment.
- Inspects plumbing lines, fixtures and equipment to determine necessary repairs.
- Responds to plumbing repair work orders and emergency requests as assigned.
- Repairs and replaces leaking lines, faucets, and plumbing apparatus and equipment.
- Installs plumbing lines and valves to boilers and heating equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet the demands of the department including plumbing, carpentry, flooring installation and repair, ceiling tile installation and repair, locksmith, landscaping, HVAC.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Journeyman License
- Two years of experience
- Must have and maintain active and valid driver’s license
