    Job description

    As a Route Service Technician (Box Truck Driver), you will be responsible for servicing assigned accounts efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. You will operate a 26 ft. straight truck safely, comply with all DOT and state regulations, and follow company safety and compliance policies.     Key Responsibilities

    • Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Plan daily schedules based on customer needs by reviewing manifests, route sheets, and other documentation provided by supervisors or dispatchers.
    • Prepare and load trucks with necessary supplies for daily service as required.
    • Ensure customer waste is properly packaged and ready for transport.
    • Deliver the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts and communicate any issues to supervisors or dispatchers.
    • Secure waste, supplies, and equipment prior to operating the vehicle on public roads.
    • Complete all required paperwork legibly and accurately, including DOT Driver Logs if applicable.
    • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
    • Adapt to fast-paced and changing work environments while maintaining safety standards.
    • Other duties as assigned.
