Procurement Engineer

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Procurement Engineer to aid in technical-based procurement activities for the Diagnostics division. The Procurement Engineer will support the identification of vendors to fulfill procurement requirements in accordance with specifications, perform item equivalency reviews, develop purchase orders, and lead receipt inspection activities to support the Chrysalis, and other SHINE-specific projects.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Duties and Responsibilities

• of the Procurement Engineer: Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Interface with Engineering organization to identify safety functions and use case of items.
• Interface with Engineering to develop receipt inspection criteria for acceptance of items.
• Interface with Commercial Grade Dedication, and Construction organizations to understand how procurement lead times affect testing and installation dates.
• Provide input to project schedule for procurement activities.
• Support development of procurement strategies with Engineering and other Procurement staff, including development of requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Perform receipt inspections for safety-related and non-safety-related items.
• Generate Over, Short, Damage, and Discrepant (OSDD) reports as required.
• Generate nonconformance reports as required.
