Shipping Agent Internship
YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Are you passionate about logistics and supply chain? As a Shipping Agent Junior Intern, you will support the coordination of export shipments for Complete Line, Stand Alone, and Upgrade projects, ensuring compliance with logistics procedures, customs regulations, and customer requirements. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international logistics and transportation within a global industrial environment. Working closely with Project Managers, Shipping, Sales Administration, and external logistics providers, you will develop a solid understanding of supply chain execution processes while contributing to the successful delivery of customer projects worldwide.
YOUR MISSION
- Act as a key contact person for Project Managers, Shipping Department, and Sales Administration teams during the execution phase of Complete Line, Stand Alone, and Upgrade projects;
- Coordinate transportation and packing activities with logistics suppliers and internal stakeholders;
- Support the execution of export shipments, ensuring compliance with Sidel logistics guidelines and fiscal procedures;
- Review quotations from logistics providers and create Purchase Requests in SAP;
- Prepare, verify, and issue the shipping documentation required for international shipments;
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively support the resolution of operational issues;
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with internal teams and external partners throughout the shipment lifecycle;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and operational efficiency.
YOUR PROFILE
- Master's Degree Student or recent Graduate in Management Engineering, International Business, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields;
- Fluent in Italian and English (minimum B2 level);
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills;
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset;
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skillls;
- Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- SAP knowledge is considered a plus.
