Field Labourer

The Field Laborer will support general construction activities across a variety of job sites, assisting skilled trades and project teams with daily tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to safe, efficient, and organized work environments. Responsibilities include site preparation, material handling, equipment support, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and the ability to follow direction in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities.

•Assist with general construction tasks on job sites under the direction of supervisors and skilled trades

•Prepare job sites by setting up materials, tools, and equipment

•Load, unload, and transport construction materials and supplies

•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including site cleanup and debris removal Support various trades with basic labor tasks

•Operate hand tools and basic equipment safely as instructed

•Follow all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures

•Assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials as required

•Report hazards, safety concerns, or equipment issues to supervisors

•Work collaboratively with team members to meet project timelines

•Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods
