Job Summary: To assist with audio-visual (AV) technology operations, providing hands-on support for meeting equipment setup, maintenance, and organization while gaining experience in AV inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of AV equipment, video conferencing tools, and presentation technologies.
- Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for AV equipment during meetings, presentations, and virtual events, including setup, troubleshooting, and teardown.
- Organize and maintain AV storage areas, ensuring equipment is properly stored, labeled, and easily accessible.
- Manage inventory of AV devices, cables, adapters, and accessories.
- Collaborate with IT and administrative staff to ensure seamless AV operations for meetings and events.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AV support or technical equipment setup.
- Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.).
- Basic technical documentation skills.
- Attention to detail in inventory and equipment management.
