We’re looking for experienced Residential Service Plumbers who can diagnose issues, communicate clearly, and complete dependable repairs while providing a professional in-home experience.
With multiple service locations across Southside Virginia and the Roanoke region, Davis provides plumbers with steady customer demand, strong operational support, continued training, and opportunities to build a long-term career.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems.
- Repair and replace water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, valves, piping, and related components.
- Diagnose leaks, water-pressure issues, drainage problems, and other plumbing concerns.
- Perform plumbing system inspections and identify safety, code, or performance issues.
- Explain findings and available repair or replacement options clearly to homeowners.
- Complete repairs safely and according to applicable plumbing codes and company standards.
- Identify opportunities for upgrades or additional plumbing solutions when appropriate.
- Complete accurate estimates, service notes, photos, and required documentation.
- Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, professional work area.
- Maintain assigned tools, equipment, vehicle, and truck inventory.
- Coordinate with dispatch, customer service, drain technicians, and other field teams.
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and customer-service training.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of residential plumbing service experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
- Knowledge of residential plumbing systems and applicable codes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.
- Commitment to safe, code-compliant, and high-quality workmanship.
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
