    What You'll Do

    • Pull, file, track, and close permits for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, commercial, sheet metal, mechanical, and gas projects

    • Manage the full permitting cycle from initial permit application through final inspection and closeout

    • Coordinate with customers, municipalities, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure all parties are at the same place at the same time for required inspections

    • Follow up with representatives, customers, municipalities, and other parties to obtain required documentation and keep permits moving forward

    • Schedule and coordinate pre- and post-installation inspections

    • Track permit statuses and ensure required permits and inspections are completed on time

    • Enter and maintain accurate project, permit, payment, and customer information in ServiceTitan

    • Create and manage Purchase Orders as needed

    • Prepare funding reports and enter GreenSky funding payments into ServiceTitan

    • Perform basic accounting and administrative duties, including merging customer accounts, processing and recording payments, monitoring outstanding invoices, and contacting customers regarding past-due balances

    • Make customer collection calls in a professional and courteous manner

    • Assist with additional accounting, permitting, and administrative tasks as needed

    • Work closely with Install Coordinators, Dispatch, managers, technicians, and other internal teams to ensure projects move smoothly from start to finish

    • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the permitting and payment process

    • Identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and find practical solutions to keep projects and permits on schedule

    What You Bring

    • At least 1 year of experience pulling permits; permitting experience is highly preferred but not required

    • Experience working with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, commercial, sheet metal, mechanical, or gas permits is a plus

    • ServiceTitan experience is highly preferred

    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills

    • Comfortable speaking with customers regarding payments, outstanding invoices, inspections, and required documentation

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    • Comfortable working with numbers and handling basic accounting-related tasks

    • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and using software systems

    • Microsoft Office proficiency is highly preferred

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through in a fast-paced environment

    • Open to feedback and willing to learn and adapt

    • Strong sense of urgency and accountability

    • No college degree required

    • No prior GreenSky experience required

    • A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
