Position Description
The Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures orders are fulfilled
correctly and efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy, compliance standards, and a
clean, organized work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and print pick lists from the ERP system (Odoo) in accordance with SOPs
- Accurately pick products and stage for shipments
- Pack orders according to company standards, customer requirements, and carrier guidelines.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying and reporting discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Ensure compliance standards are met when handling regulated products.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards while working independently or as part of a team.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including restocking, cycle counts, and housekeeping as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior warehouse, picking, or packing experience is a plus but not required.
- Basic computer and scanner proficiency.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to remain on feet for the duration of the shift.
