Christchurch Based

At Silver Fern Farms, we're committed to delivering outstanding service to our customers while continuously improving the way we operate. As part of the ongoing evolution of our logistics function, we're looking for a Logistics Manager to lead a key fulfillment portfolio and help shape the future of logistics across our business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics leader to combine operational excellence with continuous improvement, stakeholder leadership, and capability development. Working as part of the Order Fulfilment Lead Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer commitments are delivered efficiently, and on time.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Leading fulfillment operations across your portfolio to ensure service, cost, inventory, and customer performance targets are achieved.
• Building strong partnerships across Operations, Planning, Commercial, Customer Services, and external logistics providers to align priorities and deliver customer outcomes.
• Leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Driving process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, visibility, and service performance across the supply chain.
• Supporting and embedding change initiatives, new ways of working, and future logistics capability.
• Using data and insights to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve operational performance.
• Managing key logistics partners and service providers to ensure performance, compliance, and value delivery.

What we're looking for

You are a collaborative and commercially minded logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading people through change. You are equally comfortable managing day-to-day operations and identifying opportunities to improve how work gets done.

You'll bring:

• Proven leadership experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, warehousing, or fulfillment operations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across multiple functions.
• Experience leading operational improvement and change initiatives.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with logistics systems such as CargoWise and M2X.
• A focus on customer outcomes, continuous improvement, and team development.

Why join us?

At Silver Fern Farms you'll join a values-led organisation where people, customers, and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, develop your leadership capability, and help shape the future of logistics within one of New Zealand's leading exporters.

If you're ready to take the next step in your logistics leadership career, we'd love to hear from you.
