Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
- Physical mobility and stamina required.
- Some computer knowledge.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Able to follow instruction.
- Ability to understand, read and write simple English, Good communication skills are an asset
- Detail oriented and good organization skills.
- Professional attitude is required.
- Able to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills, able to clean 14 rooms within 8-hour shift without help.
Licensing Requirements:
- Class II Tribal Gaming License
Essential Job Functions:
- Stock and Sort Supplies.
- Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms and public areas.
- Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries.
- Wash, dry and fold laundry.
- Strip bedding and perform special project assigned by supervisors.
- Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests, e.g. Fridge, microwave, rollaway….
- Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- Report any out of order items in guest rooms and public areas to supervisor.
- Perform deep cleaning duties, e.g. extract carpet…
- Perform other tasks assigned.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Constantly required to use hands to finger, handling or feeling objects, tools or controls; reaching with hands and arms; talking or hearing; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently required to stand; walk climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Working conditions:
- Working in laundry involve near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to risk of electrical shock..
- Work mainly in doors.
- Works in a moderate noise level environment, increasing to loud when in laundry.
