Role Overview
As a Dev DBA you will collaborate with programmers, architects and infrastructure DBAs to build and to maintain software solutions that require interacting with databases. Good knowledge on database technologies like Oracle, MSSQL and Postgres are desirable skills. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires someone who is flexible, adaptable, and able to take on new tasks and responsibilities quickly. Responsibilities
- Requirements definition
- Data modeling
- Build and maintain database objects required by applications (tables, indexes, views, triggers, functions, procedures, etc.)
- Build and maintain test data
- Assist with SQL and performance tuning
- Quality assurance (Efficient SQL statements and index strategy, programming best practices)
- Design and implement a standard testing methodology that includes reporting, measuring and assessing performance results
- Constant looking for ways to improve system performance
- Respond to prod database-related app issues and incidents
- Troubleshooting and solving performance issues
- Logical database refreshes (schema-based)
- Support governance compliance in non-prod databases (Data redaction)
- Respond to database-related issues and incidents, and help with troubleshooting and solving

Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a similar role
- +2 years of proven experience troubleshooting performance issues and doing sql tuning
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing circumstances and priorities
- Proficiency in relevant systems and technologies
