Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to oversee the development, implementation and support of our Order Management System using IBM Sterling DOM. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable, robust solutions using Java, Spring, microservices and Apache Kafka.

Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain microservices-based architecture using java and Spring Boot
- Oversee the Integration of Sterling OMS with various subsystems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product managers, QA to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability and reliability with a focus on system uptime and customer experience
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development lifecycle by proposing technical solutions and best practices.

Preferred Skills
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in IBM Sterling OMS
- Extensive experience in Java and Spring frameworks
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, agile environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
