• You'll combine advanced mechanical simulation expertise with customer-facing consulting and pre-sales activities.

• You'll help customers solve complex engineering problems using Ansys Mechanical and related simulation tools.

What You'll Do

Deliver Expert Pre-Sales Support

• Partner with Account Managers to evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate simulation solutions.

• Deliver software demonstrations and technical presentations on a variety of engineering topics.

• Participate in customer discovery meetings to understand requirements and recommend the best course of action.

• Support the sales process by answering technical questions and helping customers understand the value of simulation.

Provide Technical Training

• Teach Ansys training classes at customer sites, online, and in SimuTech offices throughout the United States and Canada.

• Deliver foundational Mechanical training courses and expand into advanced topics as experience develops.

• Help customers build confidence and expertise in simulation best practices.

Provide Consulting Services

Work directly with customers to understand project objectives, analysis requirements, and performance expectations.

Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules for consulting engagements.

Perform all aspects of finite element analysis including geometry preparation, material definition, meshing, solving, post-processing, and reporting.

Recommend alternative design concepts and improvements based on simulation results.

Prepare clear, concise technical reports and documentation.

Deliver Technical Support

• Provide technical support to Ansys users through phone, email, virtual meetings, and onsite interactions.

• Troubleshoot simulation workflows, modeling techniques, solver behavior, and best practices.

• Resolve a broad range of customer issues, from software usage questions to advanced engineering challenges.

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.

• Permanent authorization to work in the United States or Canada.

• Documented experience using mechanical simulation tools such as Ansys Mechanical.

• Strong theoretical background in finite element analysis and computational simulation.

• Industry experience and/or technical publications demonstrating relevant expertise.

• Skills

• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to engineers, managers, and decision-makers.

• Ability to support pre-sales discussions and drive software and services sales through technical expertise.

• Strong understanding of structural, thermal, and multiphysics simulation methodologies.

• Excellent English-based written and verbal communication skills.

• Professional presentation skills and customer-facing confidence.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across engineering and sales teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative-thinking skills.

• Ability and willingness to obtain Ansys certifications.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).

Location: USA or Canada Remote / Hybrid Travel: Approximately 30%

Minimum Experience: 5+ years preferred

Pay Range: $83,000-$109,000 USD  *(Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.)*
