DESCRIPTION
In order to contribute to this role, you need to have experience in backend development and be an expert in distributed systems that process a high volume of information, that demand high performance and reliability. You must have experience with databases technologies, queue systems, and streams. 
In addition, you will also be one of the responsible for sharing knowledge with the team to build and maintain a high-performance team. 

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services;
• Build high-performance, scalable, and distributed systems;
• Work with Java, Spring, Reactor, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis and MySQL to enhance our product, ensuring safety, efficiency, and responsiveness;
• Maintain and collaborate on internal tools for monitoring, debugging, and optimizing applications at scale;
• Ensure observability, reliability, and fault tolerance across all services;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Software Engineers, UX Designers and Product Managers;
• Maintain a strong focus on code quality, security, and best practices in software development;
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or related fields;
• Production-level experience in backend development using JVM/Java;
• Knowledge in SQL and no-SQL databases as Redis and MySQL;
• Knowledge in asynchronous message processing using Kafka and RabbitMQ;
• Knowledge in GRPC/Protobuf;
• Deep understanding of the Spring Framework;
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and experience building high-scale microservices and event-driven architectures;
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to debug distributed systems;
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Experience with observability, logging, and monitoring tools for debugging and performance analysis;
• Advanced/fluent English.
• Experience with Kotlin;
• Experience with Reactor;
