Skanska is searching for a dynamic Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to start a career with a company that builds things that matter and values its team. We are proud to share our culture of diversity and inclusion.

Our work makes a clear contribution to society and the environment around us. We build in many different verticals. Whether we are building schools to provide inspiring spaces for learning, roads to connect communities or hospitals to care for patients, it all contributes to our purpose – we build for a better society.

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator is an entry-level safety professional responsible for supporting project teams in maintaining safe and compliant working environments. Reporting to the EHS Manager, this role provides technical assistance, conducts inspections, and promotes safety awareness across Skanska projects. The EHS Coordinator ensures adherence to local, state, and corporate occupational health and safety regulations while serving as a role model for employees and subcontractors.

The Coordinator also supports hazard identification and control, promotes Skanska’s Injury-Free Environment (IFE) culture, and contributes to continuous improvement of safety practices.

This position is ideal for individuals with construction or safety-related experience, or recent graduates entering the field. It requires strong communication skills, proficiency with digital tools, and a working knowledge of OSHA and industry safety standards.
