Machine Operator II

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and mechanical drawings

• Basic math skills

• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently

• Strong attention to quality, safety, and production standards

• Ability to perform physical job duties in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities and Scope:

• Safely and independently operate at least two types of production equipment or manufacturing cells

• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting

• Monitor production processes and report quality or equipment concerns

• Track machine time and production activity using a kiosk clocking system

• Obtain required quality inspections and sign-offs throughout the manufacturing process

• Assist with training and onboarding new machine operators as needed

• Perform production support functions including material cutting, facing, straightening, drilling, polishing, blasting, and inventory handling

• Coordinate with supervisors, inspectors, and coworkers to ensure efficient workflow and production schedules

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
