Website Strategy & Content
- Lead client discovery and strategy sessions to understand target audiences, brands, differentiators, service lines, and business objectives
- Develop content strategies that guide the structure, messaging, and design of each website
- Incorporate SEO and LLM/answer-engine optimization into content planning
- Assess existing websites, map content migrations, and identify content gaps
- Guide clients confidently through strategic and creative decisions
Information Architecture & Wireframing
- Create comprehensive sitemaps, page hierarchies, URL structures, and navigation
- Develop wireframes for key page types
- Translate content strategy into intuitive website architecture
- Anticipate functional requirements such as forms, scheduling integrations, provider directories, and multi-location functionality
Visual Design
- Design distinctive, polished websites that feel custom to each client
- Own visual direction across typography, spacing, hierarchy, imagery, interaction, and overall user experience
- Use AI-powered design tools to accelerate production while maintaining a high creative standard
- Iterate beyond initial AI-generated concepts to produce thoughtful, original work
- Incorporate approved content and client feedback into finalized designs
- Carry designs through client approval
Front-End & Development Handoff
- Produce front-end builds using AI-assisted development tools
- Apply working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to understand how designs will function in production
- Clearly communicate functionality and technical requirements to developers
- Collaborate with developers throughout implementation
- Review completed development against approved designs and expected functionality
- Partner with specialized developers or contractors when projects require deeper technical expertise
Client Communication & Project Ownership
- Present creative work confidently and explain the strategy behind design decisions
- Navigate client feedback while distinguishing subjective preferences from issues that genuinely improve the end product
- Communicate clearly and professionally through meetings and written correspondence
- Maintain accurate project status and documentation
- Manage multiple website engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines
- 5+ years of experience in web design, interactive design, digital agency work, or a comparable creative production role
- An exceptional web design portfolio demonstrating distinctive, polished, modern work
- Meaningful experience designing websites for consumer-facing healthcare organizations, such as dental, physical therapy, vision, family medicine, specialty practices, or multi-provider healthcare groups
- Strong understanding of how healthcare practices market themselves and convert prospective patients
- Demonstrated experience using AI-first design and development tools as part of everyday production
- Strong website and content strategy skills
- Understanding of SEO and emerging LLM/answer-engine optimization practices
- Experience developing professional sitemaps and wireframes
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to understand website functionality and communicate effectively with developers
- Strong client presentation and consultative communication skills
- Excellent written communication
- Highly organized and comfortable managing several projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine pride in the quality of your work

- Agency experience working with healthcare clients
- Experience working directly inside a healthcare organization or multi-provider practice
