We deliver environmental and sustainability services to our clients through the integration of advisory and over 30 technical environmental and engineering disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability. We are Making Sustainability Happen.
As our new Intermediate Environmental Scientist, you will play an important role on our Land Quality and Remediation team in Winnipeg.
Role
In this position, you’ll provide technical support and expertise across Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), contaminated site investigations, remediation programs, reporting, data analysis, and environmental due diligence. Working alongside experienced project managers and senior technical professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to build your technical expertise while taking increasing ownership of projects and developing your project management skills.
You’ll work on a variety of projects across urban and remote sites, including upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas facilities, commercial and industrial properties, and federal and municipal sites. Your experience will be valuable in supporting high-quality project delivery and working collaboratively with clients, contractors, and SLR team members.
This role will provide opportunities to take ownership of technical tasks and project components, while receiving mentorship from senior professionals. As your experience grows, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility for project coordination, client communication, budgets, and project management.
This is a great opportunity for an environmental professional looking to take the next step in their career, strengthen their contaminated sites experience, and develop toward a Project Manager role.
Responsibilities
You’ll enjoy a flexible and dynamic work environment where your success will depend on your collaborative working style, consultative approach, technical skills, and willingness to take initiative. This position offers a strong opportunity to grow your career within a supportive and technically experienced team.
