About The Role

SMARTKAS is seeking an experienced creative Copywriter to create engaging content for various Social Media platforms, website and print media from short captions and ad copies, to long in depth articles. The ideal candidate is dedicated to producing excellent unique content in collaboration with the Amsterdam based marketing team and able to bring the SMARTKAS vision to the audience.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, engaging, attractive captions, articles, press releases and ad copies that are SEO friendly;

• Interpreting creative direction and technical information as well as requests and turning them into persuasive copy concepts;

• Create copywriting briefs for (video) projects;

• Define key messages and brand voice based on strategic messages set out by the CMO for external communications;

• Collaborate with the creative team, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages);

• Conduct high-quality research and interviews;

• Edit and proofread texts as needed;

• Source images and other content.

Requirements and skills

• Based in Budapest, have valid working visa (we dont provide visa)

• At least 3 years proven work experience in copywriting;

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills;

• Knowledge and experience in online writing strategy;

• Excellent time management and organizational skills;

• Detail oriented and precise;

• A self starter, able to work independently, but also a great team player;

• Proficient English knowledge is a must; additional language such as Hungarian, Dutch (German and French) are welcome;

• Experience with Agtech, agriculture, technology, food or smart/indoor farming is a plus;

• BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism, communication or related field.
