Rigging Loft Technician

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, rigging equipment, welding equipment and expendable supplies.
• Repairs Welding Machines
• Issues tools and equipment for shipment and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually or using computer.
• Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment, manually or using computer.
• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
• Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and repairs or replace as necessary.
• Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment as required
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent educational experience.
• One-year work experience preferably with welding manufacturing company.
• Possess computer software experience with MS Word & Excel.
• Ability to organize and maintain data using MS Excel
• Ability to maintain a professional relationship with co-workers, leads and managers.
