What You’ll Do on a Typical Day:
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and values of Snider Fleet Solutions
- Diagnose and repair to specifications and perform all general maintenance services.
- Visual safety and courtesy inspections
- Replace batteries, change bulbs, belts, and hoses
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals
- Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
- Maintain an organized and neat shop.
Education or Experience:
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to be insured by company standards
- At least 3+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience
Certificates and Licenses:
- ASE certifications preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Coachable, hardworking, and possess general mechanical aptitude.
- Must have strong time management skills, as well as close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer and/or smart phone skills.
