**This is a local, hourly position that allows you to be home every night**

Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring a Local Truck Delivery Driver to pick up and deliver customer tires and wheels using a 26' truck (up to 26,000 lbs). This is a customer-facing role that follows assigned routes and schedules and can require extensive lifting. Safe driving, reliability, attention to detail, and clear communication are key to getting the job done right and keeping customers satisfied.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a 26’ foot truck to deliver commercial tires, wheels, and other items
• Ensure proper loading/unloading of inventory and ensuring paperwork is correct
• Maintain a safe driving record, follow all safety rules/PPE requirements, and conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
• Keep truck clean, stocked, and maintained
• Support warehouse/service staff with tire handling and equipment use
• Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding schedules, delays, violations, accidents, or breakdowns
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and adherence to policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• At least 1+ years of experience (preferably within the industry)
• Must have a clean driving record
• Ability to pass backgrounds screening and insurable by company standards

Certificates and Licenses:

• Valid Driver's License and must be insurable to drive by company standards
• DOT Medical Certification (upon hire)

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to pass background checks and drug screen
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to use road maps, smart phones, and GPS devices
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints
• Must be able to work in a results-oriented fast-paced environment
• Reliable and dependable with self-initiative
