Your key responsibilities
Technical & Commercial Support
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers and sales representatives.
- Analyze customer requirements and propose the most appropriate Socomec solutions.
- Advise customers on both standard and customized applications.
- Conduct technical discussions, feasibility studies and product presentations.
- Act as a trusted advisor on electrical distribution, monitoring and switching solutions.
- Support customers before and after the sale to ensure optimal satisfaction.
Sales & Business Development
- Manage opportunities from qualification to quotation and project handover.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer needs.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing customer accounts.
- Support pricing strategies and contribute to commercial negotiations.
- Maintain and update opportunities in Salesforce CRM.
- Contribute actively to achieving sales objectives and business growth.
Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Service and Technical teams.
- Support the Back Office with technical expertise and quality-related matters.
- Contribute to process improvements and innovation initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and knowledge-sharing activities.
Your profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a technical sales support, application engineering, field service or similar customer-facing role.
- Experience in electrical power distribution, switching, monitoring or energy management solutions is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent Dutch (Flemish)
- Fluent French
- Good working knowledge of English
