    • Maintain appropriate survey quality assurance, checking and data-management procedures
    • Prepare or contribute to survey methodologies, programmes and technical tender submissions
    • Liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams
    • Identify opportunities for additional surveying services and support the growth of the Ireland surveying capability
    • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior survey staff as the team develops
    • Collaborate with SOCOTEC surveying, monitoring, engineering and specialist teams on multidisciplinary projects
    • Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with client requirements and company procedures

We are looking for someone with:

    • Significant practical experience in land, topographical, engineering or geomatics surveying
    • The ability to independently plan, undertake, process and deliver survey projects
    • Strong knowledge of survey control, coordinate systems, GNSS, robotic total stations and levelling techniques
    • Experience producing and checking professional topographical and engineering survey deliverables
    • Experience reviewing technical specifications, tender documentation and scopes of work
    • Competence with industry-standard survey processing and CAD software
    • Strong understanding of survey accuracy, verification and quality control
    • Confidence dealing directly with clients and providing technical advice
    • Good organisational and project-management skills
    • Commercial awareness and an interest in helping develop a growing service
    • A full driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Ireland and the UK when required

Experience in laser scanning, point-cloud processing, UAV surveying, precise levelling, monitoring, BIM or other specialist geomatics techniques would be advantageous.
