From our ofice in Porto, we are expanding our team with multiple Platform Engineers. In this role, you will design and automate cloud-native environments using Kubernetes, Azure, Terraform, and Ansible to support global automotive leaders. Additionally, you will drive infrastructure modernization and ensure high system reliability through advanced monitoring.

What you’ll do...

• Build environments and microservices using Kubernetes, Azure, and on-premise infrastructure;
• Utilize Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps workflows;
• Maintain global environments using OpsGenie, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentBit, and Loki;
• Help customers and internal Sofico teams solve complex technical challenges;
• Transform legacy components into scalable, cloud-native solutions;
• Mentor peers and contribute to engineering standards across the company.

What you bring...

• Proven experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, and a major cloud provider (preferably Azure or AWS);
• Familiarity with Oracle/MS SQL and core networking concepts (DNS, firewalls);
• Fluency in English with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences;
• Comfort working directly with customers, including joining customer calls, asking the right questions, and resolving issues.
