    Job description

As passionate about our people as we are about our mission.

    Why Join Q2?

Q2 is a leading provider of digital banking and lending solutions to banks, credit unions, alternative finance companies, and fintechs in the U.S. and internationally. Our mission is simple: build strong and diverse communities through innovative financial technology—and we do that by empowering our people to help create success for our customers.

    What Makes Q2 Special?

Being as passionate about our people as we are about our mission. We celebrate our employees in many ways through our year-round Q2 ChangeMakers awards program and global moments of recognition and connection. We invest in the growth and development of our team members through ongoing learning opportunities, internal mobility, and meaningful leadership relationships. We also know that nothing builds trust and collaboration like having fun and giving back together. From company-wide volunteer days to events like our Q2 Homecoming Week—featuring learning, community service, and culture-building experiences—we create opportunities to connect, grow, and make an impact.

    SUMMARY

Q2 is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to carry out Q2’s Fraud Intelligence implementations for financial institutions.

This person will interface directly with our customers, coordinate and execute technical tasks, and develop processes that inform and improve the onboarding experience.

You must be an effective communicator and a proactive self-starter who can operate effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.

This work is performed out of our Q2 offices and does not require travel.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Own and execute high volume of customer implementations; including direct FI coordination, technical tasks, educating clients on the product and configuration options and issue triage.
    • Maintain clear records of FI project timelines and issues: manage project dates to inform financial and capacity forecasting; anticipate and mitigate risks as needed.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, ensuring swift resolution through coordination with engineering, support, and success teams.
    • Design and execute implementation plans and documentation to deploy Q2 solutions.
    • Continuously improve workflows and documentation to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
    • Ensure clear communication across teams and levels of leadership, providing updates, escalations, and recommendations when needed.

    EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • 3+ years with advance degree or 5+ years with undergraduate degree in relevant field (e.g. technical project management, partner operations, or platform support).
    • Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, including experience working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions
    • Experience building documentation and client-facing materials.
    • Experience using project management and support tools such as Jira, Confluence, Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar.
    • Familiarity with enterprise software architecture and methodologies, SaaS environments, APIs, and technical integration workflows a plus.
    • Preferred background in fintech, banking technology, or developer-focused platforms.

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
