The successful candidate should be a self-starter and motivated, with aptitude and willingness to provide insight and management across all aspects of technology projects. Must demonstrate the ability to manage and control both small technology implementations as well as larger, longer term program-like delivery. This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of the One PPM project application for Collateral and Recs – handling all necessary administration, financial forecasting and reporting. This role will support work out of both Raleigh and New York
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build relevant status and financial reports for the projects they own. Will be working closely with the development team on site in Raleigh and managers in New York
Key Job Duties:
- Manage and report on the team’s 2015 project portfolio – as well as on the BAU technology deliverables
- Help upgrade the team’s “Book of Work” process – utilizing JIRA and creating management reporting for the business
- Take full ownership of all OnePPM reports and financials – working alongside the business (Operations) equivalent to ensure all projects are properly documented in the system with correct resource financials to accompany the project status.
- Build a monthly reporting process from OnePPM
- Take full ownership of SOX compliancy monitoring and reporting
- Work with teams in New York and Raleigh to gather and report status and issues across a broad range of projects and deliverables
• Focused and consistent status reporting across the project set
• Build OnePPM expertise, and rationalize its use across the Collateral and Recs org
• Pro-active management of the team’s SOX requirements throughout the year
Solid Knowledge of Collateral Management a plus, but not required.
Technical Skills
• Solid background in technology Project Management
• Understanding of both waterfall and RAD approaches
• Good financial reporting skills
• Excel, Powerpoint, and MS project expertise
Soft skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player – and comfortable with directing teams from a schedule/plan
• Comfortable in an environment with tight deadlines
