As part of the Sonos team, you’ll collaborate with people of all styles, skill sets, and backgrounds to realize our vision while fostering a community where everyone feels included and empowered to do the best work of their lives.

A Regional Trainer is responsible for bringing educational moments to life across EMEA to our partners in the Retail and AV channels. This role will be focused on Northern Europe and will cover the UK, Ireland, and the Nordic Markets. The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of consumer electronics, have experience in developing and delivering training programmes across the region, and have a passion for communicating stories to a variety of audiences. Members of the Sonos Global Training & Education Team embody all of Sonos’ behaviors, Respect, Collaboration, Transparency, and Ownership.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Present engaging educational content verbally to both small and large audiences in a variety of formats. These formats include in-person events and meetings, live and pre-recorded webinars, on-camera video training, live trade show events, and LMS platform management.

    • Speak the operating languages of the audiences we connect with: retail consumer electronics, installed services, AV experts, and retail corporate management.

    • Navigate and deploy different communications styles dependent on the audience.

    • Work in a fast paced, ever changing environment that requires flexibility and compassion for both partners and internal teams.

    • Collaborate remotely and in-person to innovate how the Sonos Global Training & Education Team connects with our audiences to make our training activities the most enjoyable and fulfilling educational experiences in the industry.

    • Work closely with sales and content teams to not only use education as a way of driving sales and advocacy, but to identify opportunities for training material to help sell and spec Sonos products.

    • Collaborate with in-field sales & advocacy teams to ensure consistency of educational experiences across the region

    • Communicate with our partners outside of training events to answer questions and clarify key topics.

    • Keep up with industry trends and technology to ensure that the team is the authority on any topic that complements or competes with Sonos.

    • Continually practice presentational skills to maintain training performance at an elite level.

    • Continue to build on the legacy of “best in class” training moments that Sonos has delivered over the last 10+ years.

    What You’ll Need:

    Basic Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience, and success with enthusiastic public speaking and on-camera presentations

    • Effective experience in communicating knowledge to others

    • Language fluency in English

    • The ability to travel throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia for potential in-person training events on a monthly basis.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in audio video retail, installation, or design

    • Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS)

    • Good project management and organisational skills

    • Experience collaborating with teammates and cross-functional teams

    • Experience planning and executing live events and workshops

    • Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint and Google Slides

    • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere

    • A curiosity to learn new skills and a dedication to master those skills.

    • Highly organized and able to deliver multiple projects at the same time.

    • Additional language fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish

    • A love of the music and home theater experience

Your profile will be reviewed and you'll hear from us once we have an update. At Sonos we take the time to hire right and appreciate your patience.
