Job Details:
- Work Arrangement: Onsite (either Eastwood or Bridgetowne site)
- Schedule: Must be amenable to working the night shift and a shifting schedule, including weekends
- Holidays: Observes US Holidays
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors virtually through the clinic's chosen systems and provide exceptional customer service.
- Check patients into the EMR and collect payments (deductibles, copayments, patient balances) at the appropriate time.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility for medical benefits in an outpatient office setting.
- Review patient demographics and intake paperwork for completeness; collect and update information in the EMR.
- Schedule patient appointments accurately to the provider's treatment-plan recommendations, ensuring future appointments are set before patients leave the office.
- Direct patients and visitors to designated treatment areas and manage the overall flow of the front office.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with in-office staff.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of customer care; medical office, health & wellness, or nursing experience highly desirable.
- Strong command of English, speaking and writing.
- Professional phone manner; comfortable with outbound calls via digital communication tools.
- Basic familiarity with physical therapy or medical intake terminology is a plus.
- Self-motivated and reliable, with a strong desire to meet results and KPIs.
