The South Peninsula Hospital is a combined 22-bed Acute Care Critical Access Hospital and 28-bed Long Term Care facility located at the southern end of the Kenai Peninsula in South-Central Alaska. The environment is primarily indoors with light to moderate physical demands and frequent emotional intensity. The role requires flexibility, mobility throughout the facility, and the ability to maintain presence and composure in high-stress, emotionally charged situations. The position requires a moderate amount of mobility. The ability to reason, speak and have basic manual dexterity is essential. Physical demands are mild and may include sitting or standing for prolonged periods, walking, stooping and occasional lifting. This position may have exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and emotional trauma, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols and emotional resilience.
