Graphic Designer & Marketing Support

Southern Irrigation is actively seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team for our Chilliwack location. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Graphic Designer & Marketing Support
Rate of Pay: $25–$35/hour depending on skills/experience
Location: Chilliwack, BC
Hours: Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week. Flexible schedule to accommodate school drop-off and pickup.

Job Purpose

Support Southern Irrigation’s marketing by creating professional graphic materials and assisting with day-to-day marketing activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Graphic Design

• Create graphics for print, web, email and social media.
• Design signage, advertisements, presentations and promotional materials.
• Update existing designs as required.
• Maintain consistent Southern branding.
• Prepare files for print and production.

Marketing Support

• Assist with social media content and scheduling.
• Support email marketing and promotions.
• Prepare materials for events and trade shows.
• Organize photos, templates and marketing files.
• Coordinate with printers and marketing suppliers.
• Help keep marketing projects organized and on schedule.
• Assist with other marketing activities as required.

Competencies

• Graphic design experience with a portfolio of work.
• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong eye for layout, colour and presentation.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative and willing to bring forward new ideas.
• Experience with social media, HubSpot, video or website updates is an asset.
