Shape the Future of Manufacturing with Ingredion

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in one of Ingredion's most exciting capex investments, a major greenfield manufacturing project in India.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, commissioning, startup, and long-term operation of a world-class manufacturing facility while working alongside global engineering experts.

What you will do:

• Lead process engineering design activities including material and energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, and process calculations.

• Support Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed engineering for new manufacturing facilities.

• Develop utility systems and hydraulic calculations for boilers, water treatment, compressed air, and other plant utilities.

• Drive process control strategies, automation reviews, and factory acceptance testing activities.

• Lead commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and process optimization initiatives.

• Support technology transfer projects and scale-up activities.

• Champion process safety programs including PHA, MOC, PSSR, and incident investigations.

• Provide technical support for equipment evaluation, vendor selection, and capital project execution.

• Ensure engineering designs comply with Ingredion standards, safety requirements, and regulatory expectations.

What you will bring:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering.

• 8 years of experience in the chemical, specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical, food & beverage or petrochemical industry.

• Experience in process engineering, process improvement, and manufacturing operations.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Hands on experience supporting greenfield or brownfield projects.

• Process Safety Management experience.

• Lean Six Sigma certification.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project.
