Spartan Surfaces is looking for a detail-driven Warehouse Administrator to serve as the operational hub of our Sparrows Point warehouse. In this role, you will keep our inventory records accurate, our shipments moving on time, and our systems running smoothly. You will work closely with the warehouse team, transportation partners, and internal departments to make sure every order that leaves our building is right. What You Will Do
- Oversee the flow of product through the warehouse from receiving to dispatch
- Perform cycle counts and physical audits, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain high inventory accuracy
- Maintain warehouse and ERP system records, including inventory adjustments, bin locations, and transaction reconciliation
- Coordinate inbound carrier scheduling and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Support outbound order verification, labeling, and shipping documentation to meet customer delivery expectations
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance, and use the data to identify improvements
- Serve as a key point of contact for transportation companies, procurement, and internal teams to resolve shipping and receiving issues
- Support warehouse leadership with team scheduling and training coordination as needed
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse administration, inventory control, shipping and receiving, or a related role
- Experience working in a warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP system
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfort working in a warehouse environment, including time on the warehouse floor
Preferred:
- Experience with Dancik or a similar distribution ERP
- Background in building materials, flooring, or wholesale distribution
- Experience coordinating with freight carriers and managing shipping documentation
- Experience training or supporting warehouse team members
