SpecialtyRx is a full-service pharmacy. We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to manage accurate and timely payroll processing for employees across multiple locations and states. This position will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and excellent service to employees and managers. Hours: In house, Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for multiple locations and states, including regular hours, overtime, PTO, bonuses, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
- Review and reconcile timekeeping and payroll data to ensure accuracy prior to payroll submission.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, tax elections, direct deposits, and deductions.
- Process garnishments, benefit deductions, and other payroll-related transactions.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with reconciliations, audits, quarter-end, and year-end payroll activities.
- Respond professionally and timely to employee and management payroll inquiries.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably supporting a multi-state workforce.
- Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems; strong Excel skills a must.
- Working knowledge of federal and state payroll requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
