    Healthcare Assistant – Pre-Assessment | Bank | Spire Murrayfield  | Fixed Term 12 months 

    Spire Murrayfield is now recruiting an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our warm and friendly team

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Assist the qualified nursing staff, under their supervision, in providing a high quality, comprehensive service to all patients and users, ensuring a high standard of a patient care is maintained in a clean and safe environment
    • Undertake basic observations of patients’ vital signs, Bloods and perform ECCGS
    • Records information related to designated tasks accurately and passes it on to the relevant person in the team on time.
    • Identifies and reports any significant changes that might affect the individual’s health and wellbeing to the appropriate person.

    Who we're looking for

    • Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
    • Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
    • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate
