The hospital is equipped with modern facilities and advanced technology, providing colleagues with an excellent environment in which to develop their careers whilst delivering exceptional standards of patient care.

    • Monitor, assess and care for patients during the immediate post-operative period.
    • Recognise and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
    • Work collaboratively with Anaesthetic, Surgical and Theatre teams to ensure safe, effective patient care.
    • Where appropriately trained, support Anaesthetic duties within theatres.
    • Contribute to maintaining high clinical standards, patient safety and infection prevention practices.

    Who We're Looking For

    Essential

    • HCPC-registered ODP or NMC-registered Nurse.
    • Recent experience working within a Recovery/PACU environment.
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Desirable

    • Dual-trained experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery.
    • Experience within an independent healthcare setting.
    • Immediate Life Support (ILS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) qualification.

    Benefits

We offer employees a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes, but is not limited to:

    • 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
    • Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options
    • 'Spire for You' reward platform, offering discounts and cashback at over 1,000 retailers
    • Free Bupa wellness screening
    • Private medical insurance
    • Life assurance

We are committed to supporting our employees' wellbeing through work-life balance, ongoing development, recognition and reward.

Spire Healthcare is a leading independent hospital group that has been putting patients at the heart of everything we do for over 40 years. We have 39 hospitals and 8 clinics across England, Wales and Scotland.
