Spire Manchester Hospital is now recruiting a experienced CT Radiographer to join its dedicated and supportive team as a Team Lead. Duties and responsibilities
- Lead in the development of assessing patient’s health and wellbeing needs across complex and changing caseloads
- Lead in the development of patient care, alongside meeting individual’s health and wellbeing needs
- Develop own managerial, clinical knowledge and skills, actively assist the team to continually develop their own skills
- Actively develop and promote best practice in health, safety and security
- Deliver and lead others in the development of strategies, ideas, including working practices and policies for service improvement
- Enable and promote people’s equality, diversity and rights
- Actively plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology measurement, monitoring and treatment of patients
- Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients
- With the support of the General Manager, undertake Human Resources activities for all direct reports, as required
- To foster and maintain a close working relationship with the Diagnostic Imaging Manager at Spire Manchester Hospital, in relation to overseeing the implementation of PACS/RIS data accuracy including monitoring of QA
- Be accountable for all clinical governance and regulatory matters for the department
Who we're looking for
- You will hold a Diploma or Degree in Radiography and be registered with the HCPC
- Experience working within CT
- Strong leadership experience
- You will need to possess strong communication skills and have a good standard of IT.
- Previous experience within private healthcare is desirable but not essential.
