Treasury Analyst

Position Overview

The Treasury Analyst is a full-time position responsible for driving daily cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and banking operations. Operating as an agile team member within our Finance and Accounting organization, this role partners across treasury, accounting, and FP&A functions. The Treasury Analyst leverages modern technology and AI tools to monitor bank statement activity, execute disbursements, support general ledger cash reconciliations, and communicate liquidity updates to leadership across the company.

REPORTS TO

The Treasury Analyst reports to the Treasury Manager in the Finance and Accounting department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Effectively communicate cash positions, disbursement schedules, and bank reconciliation statuses across treasury, accounting, FP&A, and external banking/vendor partners.
• Monitor daily cash inflows, outgoing payment activities, and bank statement lines within Workday to maintain accurate start positions and cash forecasts.
• Execute key month-end close activities, including preparing complex journal entries, expense accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations within Workday.
• Leverage AI tools (such as Claude in Excel) and data platforms (Snowflake) to analyze transaction volumes, automate bank statement reconciliations, and optimize liquidity models.
• Partner with accounting during month-end close to reconcile cash accounts, prepare cash-related journal entries, and resolve ledger discrepancies.
• Collaborate with FP&A to provide cash flow insights, working capital analysis, and inputs for rolling corporate budget forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with internal cash controls, maintain vendor banking documentation, and support internal and external audit requests.
• Maintain agility and flexibility to step into general ledger accounting tasks, financial variance reporting, and cross-functional projects as business needs evolve.
• Achieve results by working in a fast-paced team environment while simultaneously managing and prioritizing multiple deliverables with strict deadlines.
• Maintain a strong sense of ownership and pride in work performed.

Position Requirements

• Education/Experience: 
  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Preferred: 1-3 years of full-time work experience in a corporate setting of related fields.
• Skills/Specialties:
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Solid understanding of banking operations, cash management principles, and core financial statements.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of Workday and Snowflake.
  • Preferred: Proven experience leveraging AI tools (Claude in Excel) for data processing and liquidity modeling.
• Certifications/Licenses:
  • CTP License or CTP candidate a plus
